To kick-off the Lab’s webinar series, Informed Perspectives, award-winning journalist Maria Hinojosa (Latino USA, In The Thick) and award-winning novelist Micheline Aharonian Marcom (The New American, New American Story Project ) discussed their roles as storytellers in reframing the conversation about migration at the U.S.-Mexico border, and elevating the voices of Latin@s, immigrants, and people of color who are trying to make a life in the United States.

Informed Perspectives brings together scholars, journalists, and documentarians to explore the relationship between religion, race, and politics.
